How It’s Used
Vectors can be used to study anything that experiences complex forces. For example, structural engineers use vectors when studying the forces on a truss system in a bridge.
When you understand how to work with vectors, you can even apply this knowledge to electronics. Electrical engineers use phasors to analyze how electrical currents with different amplitudes and frequencies combine.
A field that uses vectors a lot is the aircraft industry. Pilots must consider the speed and direction of the wind to reach their destinations on time.
